Mitch Uncle Boney was born a skeleton and has a terrible name. In this novella we learn of Mitch’s upbringing and his entry into the working world of an adult.
Things seem to be going OK until he tries to rent a room in his house. The result is threatening phone calls and letters, drinking binges, violence, new friendships and an ever growing tally of enemies.
Life is never simple, but when you are a skeleton in today’s world nothing is simple at all.

Nanowrimo Winner!

I completed Nanowrimo with a total of just over 51k words this year.  I wrote a first draft of a sequel to the Dolocher which I will build on for release late next year. I found it harder to complete this year but I knew that I was going to get there in the end and actually finished up three days early (but was eight days early last year)  It is a great project to complete even if you are a new writer and something well worth giving a try.

Finally Hit Number 1 in an Amazon Chart!

The Dolocher was free yesterday and it did very well again.  I finally got to number 1 in a couple of categories and I’m delighted with that.

It was number 1 in Crime Fiction and Number 4 in Horror on

It was also Number 1 in Crime by Irish Authors on

It was very satisfying to see the image of the book sitting at the top of a chart.

The rank achieved out of all free books was Number 159.

Amazing Response to ‘The Dolocher’

The Dolocher was free from all Kindle stores yesterday and the results have been amazing.

In the charts it was No.1 all day in the Irish Crime Writers Free Books list.

On the Charts it peaked at #53 out of all free books and was #3 in the Mystery and Suspense Chart and #4 in the Horror Chart.

Total sales, KOLL Lends and Free Downloads for the month were 2,986 which I think is fantastic. Thanks to all who picked up a copy and I hope more people will do the same.
